War of words erupts between BJP, AAP on voting day

A war of words witnessed between the BJP and AAP on the voting day of the MCD by polls as the ruling party leaders claimed that the opposition, after sensing defeat, has started making baseless allegations of vote theft.
BJP leader and Delhi Minister Ashish Sood, in a tweet in Hindi, said that seeing its definite defeat, the Aam Aadmi Party has become flustered. You should know that Durgesh Pathak does not fall under booth number 33 in Narayana Ward. Seeing your defeat, you are already looking for excuses to escape responsibility from now on, and both the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have always had the habit of doing politics by telling lies. Booth number 33 is in Rajendranagar Ward. Elections are not won by getting a fake letter written and spreading sensationalism.
Pathak, in a tweet earlier, had alleged, “Voting theft by BJP exposed right as Delhi MCD Bypoll voting begins. At booth 33 in Narayana Ward, gross negligence — or should we say planned vote looting — came to light only when Poonam Ji arrived to cast her vote and discovered that a fake vote had already been cast in her name. This clearly shows that BJP has given up hope of winning the bypoll and is now tarnishing democracy with the help of fraud. The Election Commission is working for the BJP, which is why anyone who goes to vote finds that BJP workers, with the help of the Election Commission, have already cast their vote beforehand.”
On Saurabh Bhardwaj’s allegation that SHO is helping the ruling party in plain cloth, Delhi BJP Spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that the AAP leader has started making excuses for the loss right from 10:30 in the morning. The people of Delhi have exposed the real face of Arvind Kejriwal and will not ever trust AAP again.
The AAP also levelled another allegation, claiming that BJP MLA Umang Bajaj violated Rule 49M, which prohibits carrying mobile phones inside polling stations and taking photographs. AAP said the MLA not only clicked photos inside the booth but also made them public, asserting that this showed he had “no fear of the Election Commission”.
AAP wrote on X that it is now “clear” the Commission has “closed its eyes to BJP’s wrongdoing”, calling the situation “not an election, but BJP’s high-handedness.”
