VIT-AP hosts second International Higher Education Fair

In a significant move to bolster global academic prospects for students in the Capital region, VIT-AP University organised the second edition of its International Higher Education Fair at its Amaravati campus on Wednesday. The event served as a comprehensive platform for aspirants to explore diverse educational pathways across the globe.
The fair was formally inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Dr P Arulmozhivarman, alongside Registrar Dr Jagadish Chandra Mudiganti. Addressing the gathering, the officials emphasised the importance of international exposure in the modern academic landscape and the university’s commitment to facilitating such opportunities.
The exhibition saw an impressive turnout of 62 international institutions, representing a broad spectrum of premier destinations for higher studies. Stalls were manned by representatives from top-tier universities based in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, France, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
Throughout the day, students engaged in one-on-one sessions with university delegates to gain clarity on complex admission processes, specific academic programmes, and available scholarship options. The fair was designed to bridge the information gap, ensuring that students make well-informed decisions regarding their future international careers.
The event was coordinated by the International Relations wing of the university. Notable attendees included Debajit Goswami, Deputy Director, and Assistant Directors Dr Sunny Dayal and Dr Sudagar Jothi, all of whom played a pivotal role in liaising with the international delegates.
The fair concluded with a positive response from the student community, who found the direct interaction with foreign university representatives highly beneficial for their academic planning.
