Vietnamese President To Lam Offers Prayers at Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya

To Lam, the President of Vietnam, offered prayers at the iconic Mahabodhi Temple during his visit to Bihar.
The Vietnamese leader paid homage to Lord Buddha and meditated under the sacred Bodhi Tree, a site of immense religious significance for Buddhists worldwide. He later visited the Vietnamese Monastery, where he participated in cultural and spiritual activities.
The visit is being seen as an important step in strengthening religious and cultural ties between India and Vietnam.
Earlier in the day, To Lam was received at Bodh Gaya Airport by Syed Ata Hasnain, Samrat Choudhary, and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha.
Officials noted that the visit highlights the shared spiritual heritage between the two countries, with Bodh Gaya being a key destination for Buddhist pilgrims from across the world.
