Vande Mataram – Swarnim Bharat Honour conferred on Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special “Vande Mataram – Swarnim Bharat” program was organized at the Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Centre, Gyan Vigyan Bhawan, Derawal Nagar, Delhi. Rajyogini BK Chakradhari, Chairperson of the Women’s Wing, said that in the glorious history of India, women have always held a dignified and respected position. Under the influence of modernity, material progress alone is often considered development or empowerment, but without inner development, complete empowerment is not possible. The practice of Spiritual knowledge and Rajyoga meditation helps inculcate divine virtues and builds inner strength, enabling individuals to remain balanced, tolerant, sensitive, and to develop an elevated personality in every situation. With soul-consciousness, inequalities based on gender, caste, religion, language and colour naturally dissolve. BK Sudha, Director, Brahmakumaris Center Moscow in Russia, who has been honoured with the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman, spoke about the glory of Vande Mataram and the vision of a Golden India. Local MLA Ashok Goel Devraha, Timarpur MLA Surya Prakash Khatri, and former BJP MP and women leader Sunita Duggal also expressed their views on the occasion. More than 500 women and men participated in the program.
