UTSAV 2025 concludes with grandeur at Army Public School in Narangi

Army Public School, Narangi, concluded its three-day cultural extravaganza UTSAV 2025 on Tuesday, 23 December 2025, with a magnificent and emotionally enriching finale held at the beautifully decorated MP Hall. Beginning at 4.00 pm, the evening showcased a vibrant blend of culture, creativity, values and teamwork, reflecting weeks of dedicated preparation by students and teachers.
The programme opened with a warm welcome to the distinguished dignitaries, led by the Chief Guest, Maj. Gen. AK Sharma, VSM (Patron, APS Narangi and GOC, 51 Sub Area) and the Guest of Honour, Brig. Harjot Singh (Chairman, APS Narangi and Dy GOC, 51 Sub Area), accompanied by their spouses, along with the Principal Dr Bandana Baruah, staff, parents and students. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp symbolised the illumination of knowledge and collective spirit.
A soulful choir performance paid tribute to legendary musical icons, followed by a heartwarming welcome by the Balvatika students, whose innocent gesture of presenting roses added warmth to the occasion. The dignitaries were felicitated with the traditional Assamese Fulam Gamosa.
The Award Ceremony recognised students for outstanding achievements in academics, sports, creativity and literature at national and international levels, highlighting the school’s commitment to holistic excellence. In his address, Maj Gen AK Sharma, VSM, praised the school’s holistic ethos and urged students to uphold discipline, integrity and leadership. The Principal, Dr Bandana Baruah, presented the Annual Report, highlighting 100per cent results in Classes X and XII, NEP 2020 initiatives, co-curricular and sports achievements,
leadership development, community service, infrastructure growth and value-based education. The cultural highlight of the evening was the cinematic stage presentation “Maryada Purushottam – An Epitome of Virtue”, a powerful and visually spectacular depiction of Lord Rama’s ideals of dharma, sacrifice, compassion and moral leadership. Entirely conceptualised and performed by APS Narangi teachers and students, the production left the audience deeply inspired.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Headmistress Anchima Hazarika, acknowledging the support of the dignitaries, management, teachers, parents, support staff and students. The programme concluded with the dignified rendition of the National Anthem. UTSAV 2025 stood as a true reflection of the spirit of Army Public School Narangi—where tradition met innovation, talent met recognition and values were cele-brated—leaving behind a lasting impression of pride, inspiration and unity.
