UPSIDA undertakes projects worth over Rs 115 crore in Sandila Industrial Area
The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) is implementing various development projects worth over Rs 115 crore in the Sandila Industrial Area of Hardoi district. These initiatives aim to strengthen, modernise, and make the industrial infrastructure more investor-friendly. Under the able leadership and guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, UPSIDA is continuously expanding and upgrading industrial infrastructure to achieve the goal of making UP a $1 trillion economy.
As part of this initiative to develop the Sandila Industrial Area into a world-class industrial hub, works worth approximately Rs 6 crore have already been completed. These include annual maintenance of the industrial area; desilting of the Raso, Jaraha, Loni, and master drains; construction of a 12-meter-wide RCC box culvert; development of truck lay-bys for heavy vehicles; and culvert construction on the internal road of Phase-1. Additionally, beautification of the entrance road and field hostel premises, resurfacing of Road No. 1, and installation of modern signboards and guide maps have been completed.
Currently, several key projects worth over Rs 110 crore are being executed at a rapid pace. These include construction of the main entrance gate; development of primary drainage systems in Phases 1, 2, 3, and 4; upgradation of various roads through CC pavement; installation of overhead retro-reflective signage; construction of retaining walls; maintenance of old culverts; strengthening of the road network across different phases; and development of an external drainage system in Phase-4. Upon completion, these projects will significantly improve connectivity, traffic management, and drainage systems within the industrial area. Enhanced infrastructure will also boost production capacity and operational efficiency for industries, while creating a more conducive environment for investors. UPSIDA aims to accelerate industrial development by providing high-quality infrastructure in every industrial area across state.
