Three women killed by unidentified gunmen in Pakistan

Unidentified gunmen killed three women from the same family and critically injured two children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan early Sunday, local police said. The incident occurred in the Qasmi area, within the jurisdiction of the Harki police station in the district of Mardan. Among the deceased were a mother and her two married daughters, who were visiting their parents' home to celebrate Eid. The injured, a boy and a girl, are the grandchildren of the elder woman. Rescue 1122 emergency services transported the injured to a nearby hospital, where doctors described the condition of the young girl as "critical." After reaching the spot, police secured the area to collect evidence.
