Temple trip turns deadly as Andhra woman, lover accused of plotting husband's murder

Police in Andhra Pradesh have arrested a 19-year-old woman, her alleged lover, and two others in connection with the murder of her husband during a visit to a hilltop temple in Chittoor district. Investigators allege that the killing was carefully planned, with the victim being lured to a secluded location under the pretext of a family pilgrimage.
According to the police, the woman allegedly shared her live location with her alleged lover throughout the journey, allowing him and his associates to track the family's movements. Investigators claim she deliberately dropped her handbag on a hill road, prompting her husband to stop the motorcycle.
At that point, the attackers allegedly ambushed him and chased him into a nearby forest, where he was killed with sharp weapons. The couple's young daughter was reportedly present during the incident.
The case came to light after the family reported them missing. CCTV footage, mobile phone records and GPS data allegedly helped investigators reconstruct the sequence of events, recover the victim's body and arrest the suspects. Police are continuing their investigation, including examining reports related to the couple's marriage and other circumstances surrounding the case.
