Sulabh hosts National conference on Women’s day

Women celebrities from different walks of life celebrated International Women’s Day by stressing on a theme, “Give to Gain”.
Held under the theme “Give to Gain: Women & Livelihoods — Building Equitable Futures,” the opening session set the tone for a day dedicated to celebrating women’s leadership, dignity, and collective action.
A policy report prepared by Sulabh International, released on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, reflects the evolution of that vision in contemporary contexts.
It documents how dignity-centred interventions in sanitation, livelihoods, agriculture, skill development, and cultural enterprise have enabled women to move from invisibility to leadership within their families and communities.
Nitya Pathak, Executive Convenor, Sulabh Intern-ational said that the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day, Give to Gain, captures a principle that Sulabh has long upheld: investing in women is not an act of charity but a strategic investment in sustainable development.
Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
