SSB Women Win 74th All India Police Hockey Title

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Women’s Hockey Team has won the prestigious 74th All India Police Hockey Championship 2025-26 title, defeating the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 2-1 in a closely contested final match. The championship was held in Rajkot, Gujarat, from 4th to 14th December 2025. The SSB women’s team maintained its dominance throughout the tournament, securing impressive victories from the league matches right up to the semi-finals and the final. The team displayed outstanding performance and great sportsmanship throughout the competition.
Following this remarkable achievement, Sanjay Singhal, IPS, Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal, extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the players and their coaches. He stated that this success is a result of the players’ hard work, discipline, and continuous practice, adding that the achievement brings immense pride to the Sashastra Seema Bal. The All India Police Hockey Championship is an annual event. It sees participation from teams representing state police forces and central police organisations from across the country. This year’s prestigious competition was hosted by the Gujarat Police in Rajkot.
