Out on bail in POCSO case, Telangana man allegedly kills wife, children, teen survivor and her family

A shocking case of multiple murders has emerged from Telangana's Ranga Reddy district, where a 35-year-old man, who was out on bail in a POCSO case, allegedly killed his wife, two young sons, a teenage girl who had accused him in the case, and two members of her family.

According to reports, the accused, identified as Rajkumar, first allegedly murdered his wife and two children at their home in Shabad before targeting the teenage girl who had filed a sexual assault complaint against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He then allegedly killed the girl's mother and grandmother.

Police said the accused had earlier been granted bail in the POCSO case registered against him. Investigators are probing the sequence of events and the motive behind the killings, while forensic teams have collected evidence from multiple crime scenes.

The gruesome incident has sent shockwaves across Telangana and has reignited concerns over the monitoring of accused persons released on bail in serious criminal cases, particularly those involving sexual offences against minors.

Authorities have launched a detailed investigation, and further legal action is underway. More details are awaited as the police continue their probe.
