SBI Pension Funds AUM crosses Rs 6 lakh crore

SBI Pension Funds, a pension fund manager under the National Pension System (NPS), has crossed `6 lakh crore in assets under management (AUM) while serving over 1.85 crore subscribers across Government, corporate and retail segments.
The milestone reflects the growing confidence of millions of subscribers and reinforces the company’s leadership position, with over 34 per cent market share in India’s pension fund industry, the fund house said in a statement on Monday.
The achievement marks an important milestone not just for SBI Pension Funds but for India’s evolving retirement ecosystem, it added.
The company’s growth has been underpinned by sustained subscriber trust over the years, it said.
From crossing Rs 1 lakh crore AUM in 2018 to reaching Rs 6 lakh crore today, each milestone reflects the increasing adoption of retirement planning and the confidence placed in SBI Pension Funds by millions of subscribers across the country, it said.
Over the last 15 years, SBI Pension Funds’ AUM has grown at a compounded growth rate of nearly 36 per cent, it added.
