Fire destroys case property vehicles in New Ashok Nagar Police Station Malkhana

A fire broke out in the malkhana (case property parking area) of New Ashok Nagar police station in East Delhi on Tuesday afternoon, damaging several seized vehicles.
The Delhi Fire Services received an emergency call around 1:06 pm, following which eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Police personnel at the station initially tried to control the blaze using fire extinguishers and water from overhead tanks before firefighters took over.
The fire was brought under control by around 2:20 pm, and officials confirmed that no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
Preliminary findings suggest that the fire may have originated from parked case property vehicles stored in the malkhana area. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.
