Delhi Police on Tuesday stopped AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal's protest march over the Union Government’s E20 ethanol-blended petrol policy. The protestors, who were headed to PM Modi's residence, have now staged a sit-in protest right where they were stopped by the police.
Delhi Police halted the march on Firoz Shah Road, about 4 kilometres from 7, Lok Kalyan Marg – official residence of the Prime Minister.
Kejriwal-led protest march was against the Union Government’s E20 ethanol-blended petrol policy. Following the police intervention, he, along with former Delhi Deputy
Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, AAP leader Jasmine Shah and several other party members, staged a sit-in protest on the road.
