BJP targets CM Revanth Reddy over Hitler remark, links it to Rahul Gandhi's rhetoric

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has come under sharp criticism from the BJP after he claimed that the name and concept of Telangana’s anti-encroachment agency, HYDRAA, were inspired by Adolf Hitler.
Speaking at an event in Bengaluru, Reddy reportedly said that Hitler's core team was associated with the term "Hydra" and that he drew inspiration from it while naming the agency. The remarks immediately sparked a political controversy.
The BJP condemned the statement, accusing the Congress leader of promoting a “Hitler mindset” and alleging that he was using language similar to that of Rahul Gandhi.
BJP spokespersons questioned whether the Congress leadership would distance itself from the remarks and described the comments as irresponsible and divisive.
Historical experts also challenged Reddy’s claim, noting that there is no evidence linking Hitler’s inner circle to the term “Hydra.”
The controversy has added to the ongoing political confrontation between the Congress and BJP, with both parties exchanging accusations over governance, political rhetoric, and national issues.
