Amity Noida’s Sanjana Chauhan tops financial markets management

With celebrations across schools and homes following the declaration of the CBSE Class 12 board examination results, a student from Amity International School, Noida emerged as the only candidate in the Delhi-NCR region to secure a perfect 100 out of 100 in Financial Markets Management.
Sanjana Chauhan, a Class 12 student of the school, achieved the feat in the subject, which continues to see limited enrollment among students.
Speaking about her choice of subject, Sanjana said her teachers played a key role in guiding her towards Financial Markets Management. “Having studied for so many years at Amity International School, Noida, my teachers know my interests and strengths. My teachers suggested I try the subject and once I reviewed the course, I instantly knew I had to pursue it,” she said.
Crediting her preparation strategy and school environment for the achievement, the student said she learnt the importance of discipline and planning through competitions and extracurricular activities organised by the school. “From the beginning of my 12th grade, I prepared weekly timetables for my academics, which later became daily timetables. That helped me complete my syllabus,” she said.
Sanjana added that Financial Markets Management helped deepen her understanding of investments and financial systems. “The great thing about this subject is that it prepares any student to understand the concept of investing, how to invest, where to invest and the nuances of financial management,” she said.
AIS Noida Principal Renu Singh praised Sanjana’s achievement and described her as a “brilliant and enthusiastic student.” She added Sanjana has received seven offers from universities in the United States and will pursue Economics Honors at Stanford University.
Sharing her future aspirations, Sanjana said she hopes to return to India after completing her studies abroad and contribute to building equitable financial systems.
