2 Massive fires break out in Noida Residential Tower and Office Building

2 separate fire incidents triggered panic in Noida on Friday morning after a massive blaze erupted in a 12th-floor apartment of a high-rise residential tower in Sector 74, while another fire broke out at an office located on the ground floor of a building in Sector 52. Authorities confirmed that no casualties have been reported in either incident.
The first fire was reported around 8 am at IVY County Society in Sector 74. Flames and thick black smoke engulfed a flat on the 12th floor of the 28-storey building, prompting an immediate evacuation of residents. Fire department teams rushed to the spot and launched firefighting operations using the society’s in-house fire safety systems along with multiple fire tenders.
Residents safely evacuated the tower through staircases, while nearby apartments were also cleared as a precautionary measure. The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Taking cognisance of the incident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to expedite rescue and relief efforts and ensure medical assistance if required.
Meanwhile, another fire was reported in the Gijhor area of Sector 52, where an office on the ground floor of a building caught fire. The upper floors of the building reportedly house a hostel and paying guest accommodation. Firefighters quickly reached the location and initiated containment operations.
Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Gupta said separate teams were deployed for search, rescue and firefighting operations at both locations. Modern equipment, including thermal imaging cameras and hydraulic platforms, were used during the operations. Officials later confirmed that both fires had been brought under control without any injuries.
Authorities are investigating the causes behind both incidents.
