Sanjay Raut slams Shinde over defection of 6 Sena (UBT) MPs

In the latest twist to the never-ending Shiv Sena political soap opera, Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut launched a scathing counterattack on Monday following the defection of six Lok Sabha MPs, claiming Deputy CM Eknath Shinde had undergone a ‘Cesarean procedure’ to give birth to ‘six traitors.’

The remarks from the Thackeray confidant came just hours after Shinde announced the successful conclusion of “Operation Tiger”, the codename for engineering the defection of over half of the Sena (UBT)’s parliamentary strength.

“Let them show it. Shinde has delivered... ‘Mindhe’ has delivered and given birth to six traitors,” Raut said.

“Mindhe” is a derogatory term used by the Uddhav camp for Shinde, which loosely means a “puppet of the BJP.
