Recruitment Scams have shattered youths trust AJSU Chief

Jharkhand AJSU Party chief Sudesh Mahto on Monday, August 3, demanded a CBI inquiry into "irregularities" in the JPSC and JSSC examinations, alleging that recruitment scams have shattered the youth's trust in the state government.

Mahto alleged that the government intended to shelve the entire matter by relying on the Criminal Investigation Department's (CID) investigation.

"Recruitment scams in the state have shattered the youth's trust. The government wants to shelve the matter by relying on a CID investigation. A CBI inquiry should be ordered into the 14th JPSC and JSSC recruitment scams, or an independent committee of retired judges and experts should be formed to conduct an impartial investigation of the entire recruitment process," Mahto said while launching the party's online membership drive.

He said the AJSU Party stands firmly with the struggle of students and youth. "The party's clear agenda is transparent and corruption-free examinations, just employment, and comprehensive reforms in the education system," he said.

Mahto added that the government should also clarify how future appointments will be made transparently and how the youth will get fair opportunities. He also demanded that all current JPSC members be removed immediately and the Commission be reconstituted.

Earlier, the party held a meeting to discuss strategies for its upcoming state-level convention in Jamshedpur, scheduled to begin August 7. Organisational expansion, future strategy, and various proposals will be discussed at the convention on August 7, while a tribute meeting will be held on August 8 to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Nirmal Mahto, according to a party press release.
