Raghav Chadha ignites buzz over launching youth-led political party

Fresh political speculation is gathering momentum around Raghav Chadha, with growing chatter over whether the young leader could be contemplating a new, youth-driven political platform.
The buzz intensified after Chadha reshared a video on his Instagram Story in which a supporter suggested that he should consider forming his own political party. What has drawn particular attention is his brief but intriguing response to the post: “Interesting thought”. The remark, though open-ended, has sparked widespread discussion among supporters and political observers alike.
Many are debating whether the response was a casual acknowledgement or a subtle nod toward a larger political ambition.
Sharing a social media video of a user suggesting that the sidelined AAP leader Raghav Chadha float his own political party rather than joining another, Chadha on Wednesday left a brief comment: “interesting thought”, fuelling speculation.
This comes after the MP shared a picture on his Instagram account of a book chapter with the title “Never Outshine the Master”, apparently taking a dig at the party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal.
In the video shared by Chadha, the content creator can be seen saying that to keep his support intact, the AAP leader should launch his own party instead of joining any other political outfit. Chadha, known for his appeal among younger voters and his articulate public presence, has often been seen as one of the prominent youthful faces in Indian politics. His social media engagement frequently draws strong reactions, particularly from first-time voters and urban audiences.
While there has been no official statement or confirmation from Chadha regarding any plans to launch a new party, the timing of the speculation has added to the intrigue. Political analysts suggest that even a hint of such a move could reshape conversations around youth participation and leadership in the country’s political landscape.
The Aam Aadmi Party had last week removed him as its deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, and the MP reacted by saying that he had been “silenced, not defeated”.
