Raghav Chadha Alleges Vendetta Politics by AAP, Meets President Murmu with BJP MPs

Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha alleged that he could be the “next target” of vendetta politics by his former party, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), after recently joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with several other MPs.
Chadha, along with fellow MPs Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal, met President Droupadi Murmu to raise concerns over the actions of the AAP-led Punjab government. After the meeting, Chadha claimed that state machinery was being used to target leaders who had left the party.
“We informed the President about how the Punjab government is engaging in vendetta politics against MPs who joined the BJP. According to sources, I may be the next target,” Chadha said during a media interaction.
He further alleged that agencies were being used to intimidate leaders through social media and other means.
The allegations come amid recent developments involving raids and legal actions against individuals linked to former AAP members in Punjab, which Chadha cited as part of a broader pattern.
Chadha also stated that during the meeting, the President assured the MPs of protection and upholding constitutional values.
The political developments mark an escalation in tensions between the AAP and former party leaders who have shifted allegiance, adding a new dimension to the ongoing political landscape in Punjab.
