Pune Realtor Murder probe takes new turn as Siya Goyal secret Married lover Chetan: Sources

The investigation into the alleged murder of Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal has taken a dramatic turn with claims that prime accused Siya Goyal had secretly married her alleged boyfriend and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary nearly four months before Agarwal's death.
According to sources, Goyal was believed to be engaged to Agarwal and the two were preparing for their wedding. However, investigators have now uncovered information suggesting that she had already entered into a secret marriage with Chaudhary, raising fresh questions about the motive behind the alleged murder. Police are examining documents and other evidence to verify the claim.
Ketan Agarwal, a Pune-based realtor, died after falling from a cliff at Lohagad Fort on June 18. The case was initially treated as an accidental death but was later converted into a murder investigation after police alleged that Goyal and Chaudhary had conspired to kill him. Both were arrested and are currently in judicial custody.
Investigators suspect the alleged relationship between Goyal and Chaudhary, coupled with her unwillingness to marry Agarwal, may have been a key motive behind the crime. The probe has already uncovered digital evidence, including deleted mobile data and coded conversations, while police are also examining the possible involvement of other individuals in the conspiracy.
Police have not yet officially confirmed the alleged secret marriage and said the investigation is continuing to establish the authenticity of the claims and their relevance to the murder case. Authorities are expected to question additional witnesses as they work to reconstruct the sequence of events leading up to Agarwal's death.
