Postcard released on People of India at PMML

The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communication, in collaboration with Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, PMML have released a new postcard on “People of India”, on Saturday.
This unique event is in continuation of the recently launched Philatelic Exhibition “Ek Bharat, Shresth Bharat: Celebrating India’s Unity and Democracy through Postage Stamps” from 14 April to 17 April at the Sangrahalaya premises.
Ashwani Lohani, Director, PMML has graced the occasion in presence of Priyanka Mishra, CEO, Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya and officials from the Postal department. Speaking on this occasion, Director, PMML, said, “Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya is actively organising events through which people can better relate to the apex leadership of the nation and appreciate the deep roots of democracy in the country. This release of picture postcards on the people of India is a step in this direction”.
The exhibition features sections like Tribal Resistance, Women of Freedom, Festivals of India, and The People of India, and remains open to the public at Teen Murti Bhawan.
