PM to inaugurate Rs 150 crore Sardardham Complex in Gujarat

Sardardham is set to inaugurate a major educational and residential complex in Vadodara on May 11, marking a significant step toward its vision of nation-building through community development inspired by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The newly constructed “Dr Dushyant and Daksha Patel Complex,” located near Waghodia Crossroads along National Highway-48 beside L&T Knowledge City, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 4.30 pm.
Built at an estimated cost of Rs 150 crore, the sprawling facility covers around 4,75,000 square feet and is designed to accommodate 2,000 students from the Patidar community.
It includes separate hostel-cum-institute arrangements for 1,000 boys and 1,000 girls.
The complex features 278 rooms, a 400-seat e-library, a 1,000-capacity auditorium, and specialised training centres for competitive exams such as GPSC and UPSC, as well as defence and judicial services.
Additional amenities include an NRI service centre, student counselling facilities, and yoga and meditation spaces.
The event is expected to see the presence of several prominent leaders, including Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, and other senior political and social figures.
The project has been made possible through contributions from several donors within the Patidar community, with key support from industrialists and philanthropists. Sardardham leaders, under the guidance of Gagjibhai Sutariya, have been actively coordinating efforts to ensure the successful execution of the project.
