Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the 45th anniversary celebrations of The Art of Living in Bengaluru on May 10.
Founded in 1981 by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, The Art of Living has evolved into a global volunteer-driven humanitarian and educational organisation with a presence in 182 countries.
According to officials, the Prime Minister is expected to arrive at Bengaluru’s HAL Airport at around 9 am before attending a felicitation programme organised by BJP leaders and workers.
Later in the day, Modi will take part in The Art of Living’s 45th anniversary celebrations as well as the 70th birthday celebrations of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at the organisation’s International Centre in Bengaluru.
During the event, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the newly constructed Dhyan Mandir, a dedicated meditation hall designed to promote inner peace and holistic well-being.
A statement issued by officials said Modi will also launch The Art of Living’s nationwide service initiatives, which include year-long projects focusing on mental well-being, rural development, environmental conservation and social transformation.
