PM Modi conferred Seychelles’ highest environmental honour

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday was conferred the honorary title of ‘Guardian of the Blue Horizon’ by the Government of Seychelles in recognition of his leadership in environmental conservation, climate resilience and sustainable development, becoming the first recipient of the country’s highest environmental distinction.

Seychelles President Patrick Herminie presented the honour to PM Modi during his three-day visit to the archipelagic nation, where the Prime Minister is attending the country’s golden jubilee National Day celebrations as the Guest of Honour.
