Parashurama Jayanti event calls for community unity

Leaders and members of the Brahmin community gathered in large numbers in the capital to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Parashurama, with a strong focus on unity, education and social upliftment.
The event was organised by the World Brahmin Federation at the Andhra Association Building in the Lodhi Institutional Area. Participants from across the National Capital Region attended the programme and discussed the need for strengthening community bonds and improving opportunities for future generations.
Speakers at the event stressed the importance of policies aimed at the social and economic progress of Brahmin families. They highlighted the role of education and cultural values in shaping the next generation and called for collective efforts to ensure growth and stability within the community. World Brahmin Federation Chairman Shashikant Sharma, in his address, urged the youth to move forward with confidence and knowledge. He said that while success in competitive fields is important, equal attention must be given to building strong moral values among children.
He called on the younger generation to take responsibility for improving the condition of the community through education and awareness.
Several community representatives attended the event, including Vice Chairman Sukhbir Sharma, R S Goswami, K C Pandey, Ambar Swami, K C Bhardwaj, Pandit Abhishek Dutt, Dibban Lal Sharma, Dharampal Sharma, Shreyansh Dwivedi, Dr Manju Sharma, Meenu Sharma, Pooja Sharma, Radheshyam Sharma, Vinod Sharma and Yugal Kishore Sharma.
Delhi State President Balbir Sharma, who coordinated the programme, also addressed the gathering. He underlined the need for unity and cooperation within the community and called for sustained efforts to maintain solidarity.
