Operation Sindoor symbol of India’s firm stand against terrorism, says Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Wednesday described Operation Sindoor as a strong declaration of India’s uncompromising stand against terrorism and anti-national forces on the operation’s first anniversary.
Operation Sindoor was conducted by the Indian armed forces between May 7 and May 10 last year, targeting terror infrastructure and military facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir following the April 22, 2025 Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 26 people, most of them tourists.
In a post on X, Choudhary said the operation was not just a military campaign but a clear message that India would respond firmly to threats against its sovereignty and citizens.
“Our brave soldiers, with indomitable courage and valour, shattered the enemy’s sinister designs and sent a message to the world that India is capable of going to any lengths to safeguard its honour and citizens,” the Bihar chief minister said.
Calling Operation Sindoor a “hallmark of valour”, Choudhary asserted that the “new India” does not remain silent in the face of terrorism but delivers decisive responses.
The operation is being remembered across the country as one of India’s major counter-terror military actions following the deadly attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam region.
