Nitin Nabin’s elevation will energise party organisation: CM Rekha Gupta

The Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, on Monday said the appointment of Nitin Nabin as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Working President would inject fresh energy into the organisation and further strengthen its national structure. Congratulating Nabin on his first visit to Delhi after assuming charge, the Chief Minister described the move as a reflection of the BJP’s continued trust in young leadership.
The Chief Minister welcomed Nabin along with senior party leaders and said his elevation marked an important moment for the organisation.
She said the BJP had consistently promoted leaders who emerged from grassroots politics and organisational work, and Nabin’s appointment followed the same tradition.
According to her, his experience and work ethic would help the party remain dynamic and disciplined.
The Chief Minister said Nabin’s organisational journey, marked by sustained engagement with party workers, had prepared him well for a national role. She noted that his ability to connect with workers at the booth level and maintain direct communication across the organisation had earned him respect within the party. “His appointment shows the confidence the party leadership has in youth leadership,” she said.
She added that the BJP believes young leaders bring fresh ideas and renewed energy, which are essential for a growing organisation. Nabin’s rise, she said, underlined the party’s long-term vision of grooming future leaders who could shoulder national responsibilities early in their political careers.
