NIA raids 9 J&K locations over Red Fort blast case
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted extensive raids at nine locations across Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the November 10, 2025, Red Fort car bomb blast case.
According to the official spokesman of the NIA, “the counter-terror agency, which is pursuing various leads in the case RC — 21/2025/NIA/DLI, searched nine locations in the districts of Srinagar, Baramulla, Jammu, Kulgam, Ganderbal and Handwara.”
Several digital devices were seized during the searches and the same have been sent for forensic analysis.
The spokesman said a total of 11 accused have been arrested till date for their roles in the deadly blast that shook the national capital on 10th November 2025, killing several persons and injuring many others. The prime accused, Umer Un Nabi, was also killed in the lethal explosion.
NIA found during the investigation that Umer had masterminded the blast conspiracy in coordination with the arrested co-accused and others.
The agency is continuing with its efforts to unravel the larger conspiracy behind the terror attack and to identify others involved in the plot to spread mayhem and destabilise the country, the spokesman added.
