NDMC to host winter rose show on December 20–21
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), in association with the Rose Society of India, will organise the annual Winter Rose Show this weekend, on December 20 and 21, 2025, at the India–Africa Friendship Rose Garden, Chanakyapuri.
The show will be inaugurated on December 20, and prizes will be awarded to the best exhibits during the prize distribution ceremony on December 21. Visitors can enjoy the show from 12.00 noon to 5.00 pm on December 20, and from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on December 21.
A large number of participants from various organizations, including NDMC, PGI Chandigarh, and IARI–Pusa, will take part in the show by exhibiting their finest displays of roses across different categories.
The main attractions will include various types of roses such as Hybrid Tea, Floribunda, Miniature, Polyantha, and other popular varieties. In addition, a painting competition for NDMC school students, displays of value-added rose products, artistic bouquets, garlands, and Ikebana arrangements will also be part of the event.
