Mukesh Ambani pledges Rs 7 lakh crore investment as PM boosts Gujarat growth push

In a major boost to Gujarat’s industrial and technological ambitions, Mukesh Ambani has announced an investment of Rs 7 lakh crore to develop clean energy and artificial intelligence hubs in the State.
Meanwhile, Narendra Modi is set to visit Rajkot on Sunday to inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the Kutch and Saurashtra regions at Marwadi University.
This conference is the second in a series of four regional meets aimed at decentralising the successful Vibrant Gujarat model and extending investment opportunities to 12 districts across Saurashtra and Kutch. The initiative is aligned with the Centre’s vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047” and seeks to promote global engagement and regional industrial growth.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will also launch several key infrastructure projects, including fourteen new greenfield smart industrial estates and a dedicated medical device park.
