MP CM introduces e-Cabinet, distributes tablets to ministers

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday introduced a major digital initiative in Madhya Pradesh by distributing tablets to all members of the Council of Ministers during the Cabinet meeting held at the Mantralaya. With this step, complete information related to Cabinet proceedings will now be made available through a secure digital platform.
Cabinet ministers and their respective secretaries received the tablets during the meeting and expressed appreciation for the initiative, thanking the Chief Minister for promoting technological innovation in governance.
Explaining the initiative, Dr Yadav said the State Government is actively advancing e-governance and has launched the e-Cabinet system as part of this effort. He noted that necessary training is being provided to ministers and concerned officials to ensure smooth and effective use of the e-Cabinet application. Developed on modern technology, the application is paperless, secure, and confidential, allowing members of the Council of Ministers to access Cabinet-related information anytime and from anywhere.
The e-Cabinet platform will primarily enable ministers to view Cabinet agendas and track compliance reports related to decisions taken in previous meetings.
Dr Yadav expressed confidence that the system would enhance transparency, improve efficiency, and significantly reduce the time spent on administrative processes.
