Mother, Teenage Son Stabbed to Death in Delhi’s Govindpuri; Robbery Suspected

A shocking double murder case has emerged from Delhi’s Govindpuri area, where a woman and her teenage son were allegedly stabbed to death inside their home during the early hours of Thursday.
Police suspect robbery to be the primary motive behind the killings after cash and jewellery were found missing from the residence.
According to police officials, the victims have been identified as Sharda Sahu, 38, and her 13-year-old son.
The incident reportedly came to light after the woman’s husband, a fruit and vegetable vendor who works at weekly markets, returned home late at night and discovered the bodies inside the house.
Investigators stated that the front door was found latched from outside, raising suspicion about the sequence of events leading to the crime.
Initial investigations suggest that the attackers used a sharp-edged weapon and later escaped with valuables from the house. Reports indicate that cash and jewellery worth several lakhs may have been stolen, strengthening the robbery angle in the case.
Delhi Police have registered a case of murder and burglary and formed multiple teams to investigate the incident. Crime and forensic teams have also collected evidence from the scene as authorities continue their search for those involved.
