Military College of Telecommunication Engg wins Army’s prestigious award

Lt Gen Praveen Bakshi, VSM, Commandant MCTE, received the prestigious Digitisation & Automation Excellence Award from General Upendra Dwivedi, PVSM, AVSM, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) during ongoing Army Commanders Conference held at New Delhi.
The Digitisation and Automation Competition is focused on the effective implementation of central applications across the organisation. This initiative aims to further enhance the utilisation of these applications, thereby encouraging the Indian Army to accelerate efforts toward data updation and transition to a paperless, digitised environment.
The ultimate objective is to build a comprehensive and reliable database that can be effectively leveraged to enable Artificial Intelligence-driven decision support systems, improving operational efficiency and strategic planning.
The achievement highlights the dedication and commitment of MCTE towards shaping the future warriors of modern-day warfare. During his address, COAS complimented the awardees and mentioned that their achievement will be a source of inspiration for others to emulate.
