Mamata opposing Citizenship Amendment Act to protect iftari on streets: Yogi

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a strong attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC) from the soil of West Bengal on Saturday. He said clearly, Mamata didi opposed the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) because she is worried that if Hindus increase, how will “iftari” be held on the streets.
He said, “TMC does not believe in democracy. Everyone witnessed its hooliganism during the first phase of polling.
But when the results come on May 4, TMC goons will have no place to hide.
With the possibility of a double-engine Government in Bengal, these goons have started searching for work. Some are thinking where to open a ‘puncture shop’, while others are worried about saving their lives by becoming road sweepers.
However, wherever these attackers go, we will track them down.”
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was addressing public meetings in support of BJP candidates Shruti Shekhar Goswami from Nabadwip Assembly constituency, Krishna Ghosh from Katwa, and Soma Thakur from Bagda Assembly constituency.
Even in the intense heat, there was no insufficiency in the enthusiasm of the people of Bengal towards CM Yogi.
Thousands present at the rallies continuously raised slogans of “Yogi-Yogi”.
He expressed gratitude to the voters for this affection. He said Bengal will no longer accept anarchy. The stigma of loot imposed on Bengal by Congress, Communists, and TMC must now end.
The people of Bengal have decided to bring a double-engine Government, which will work at double speed. To settle accounts with TMC goons, a double-engine Government in Bengal is necessary.
CM Yogi congratulated voters for record voting on 152 seats in the first phase. He said every voter had the will to free Bengal from terror, mafia rule, and corruption and to re-establish it as a symbol of India’s identity by bringing a BJP double-engine Government.
The scenes on polling day indicated that when results come on May 4, saffron flags will be seen waving across Bengal.
CM Yogi said, 500 years ago, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu attracted the world through the melodious chant of “Hare Krishna, Hare Rama” and established India’s Sanatan flag on the global stage, and today, ISKCON monks are doing the same.
This land represents India’s spiritual heritage, pride, sacrifice, courage, and self-respect. It is the land of spirituality, patriotism, art, and literature.
This land once led India’s spiritual, cultural, and literary heritage.
This is the same Bengal that was once known as the “cultural capital” of the country.
He informed, “Today, under TMC rule, Bengal is struggling for its identity.
Industries are shutting down, farmers are not getting fair prices, youth are not getting jobs, and Government employees are not receiving full salaries.
Law and order is alarming, and hooliganism is at its peak.
In a TMC Government symbolising terror, mafia rule, and corruption, BJP worker Sanjay Bhowmik was brutally murdered, and TMC goons roam freely. Land, sand, and cattle mafias dominate Bengal.
The money sent by PM Modi for development is being looted by TMC goons, but Bengal has now awakened. The era of “cut money” and anarchy will end.”
CM told voters that the time has come to get rid of the TMC Government that allows infiltrators to rob their rights. Any work that benefits India and Bengal are opposed by the TMC.
When the Prime Minister brought the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) in Parliament, the TMC opposed it.
This Act guarantees that Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Sikhs persecuted in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan and living in India for more than five years will get Indian citizenship.
