Delhi LG Orders Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle, Transfers 76 IAS and DANICS Officers

In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena has issued transfer and posting orders for 76 senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of AGMUT cadre and Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services (DANICS) officers across various departments. The LG has transferred 19 IAS and 57 DANICS officers posted in various departments in the national Capital.

Shurbir Singh, a 2004 batch officer, has been made Secretary, Finance, holding additional charge of Development Commissioner, shall also hold the additional charge of Director, DAM. He was earlier serving as Secretary, Finance additional holding the charge of Development Commissioner.

K Mahesh, 2009 IAS officer, was serving as MD (DKVIB) but he has been given additional charge of Secretary, Art & Culture, relieving Rashmi Singh, IAS, from the additional charge.

Sanjeev Mittal, 2011 batch IAS officer, was serving as Deputy Commissioner (HQ), Revenue Department, holding additional charge of Director, DAM and now he has been placed at the disposal of DJB.

D Varma, 2011 IAS officer, was Member (DUSIB) holding additional charge of ED (DFC). Now he will be a Member (DUSIB) holding additional charge of ED (DFC), shall also hold additional charges as Secretary (Planning) of on retirement of Azimul Haque, IAS and ED (DSFDC).

GSudhakar, 2012 batch IAS officer, was serving as Deputy Commissioner/DM (Central) and he has given charge of Deputy Commissioner/DM (Old Delhi).

A Nedunchezhiyan, 2012 IAS officer, was Principal Director (Delhi Fire Service). He has now given charge of Principal Director (Delhi Fire Service) and shall also hold additional charge of CEO (DDMA) on the retirement of Krishan Kumar, IAS.

Suneel Anchipaka, 2014 batch IAS officer, was Special Commissioner (Trade & Taxes), holding additional charge of Spl. Secretary (Tourism) and Special Secretary (PWD). He has been assigned charge of Special Commissioner (Trade & Taxes), shall also hold additional charge of Special Secretary (PWD) and MD & CEO (DT&TDC), relieving Niharika Rai, IAS, from the additional charge.

Ravi Dadhich, 2014 batch IAS officer, was Special Secretary (Power), holding addl. Charge of MD (IPGCL/PPCL). He has been given charge of Deputy Commissioner/DM (North).

Ranjana Deswal, 2014 batch IAS officer, was posted at NDMC and now she has been made Deputy Commissioner/DM (Central).

Vandana Rao, 2015 batch IAS officer, was Deputy Commissioner/DM (West). She has been given the additional charge of CVO (DSIIDC). Mekala Chaitanya Prasad, 2015 batch IAS officer, was currently posted as Deputy Commissioner/DM (South West) and now she has been given additional charge of Director (Panchayat).

Kumar Abhishek, 2016 batch IAS officer, was Deputy Commissioner/DM (North) and he has been given charge of Deputy Commissioner/DM (Outer North).

Shailendra Singh Parihar, 2018 batch IAS officer, was serving as Commissioner/DM (Shahdara) and now he has been given charge of Deputy Commissioner/DM (Central North) shall also hold additional charges of Secretary, DCSK and Registrar, DSEU.

Lakshay Singhal, 2019 batch IAS officer, was serving as Deputy Commissioner/DM (South). He will also hold of additional charges as Secretary (PGC) and PD (DSACS).

Ayushi, 2022 batch IAS officer, was posted as SDM (Vasant Vihar) and now she has been given charge of SDM (Bijwasan).

Kanika, 2022 IAS officer, was SDM (Alipur) and now transferred as SDM (Narela).

Anuja Trivedi, 2022 batch IAS officer, was SDM (Kapashera) and now she will work as SDM (Matiala). Jarad Pratik Anil, 2023 batch IAS officer, was serving as SDM (Narela) and has been transferred as SDM (Bawana). Piyush Kumar, 2023 batch IAS officer, was SDM (Saket) and has been transferred as SDM (Chhatarpur).
