KPK CM Afridi charged

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was on Wednesday formally named in a chargesheet submitted at a court in Pakistan in a case related to the May 9, 2023, attack on the Radio Pakistan building here. The charge sheet submitted at the Anti-terrorism Court here against Afridi and several others was in the case related to the attack on the Radio Pakistan Peshawar building during nationwide pro-Imran Khan protests in May 2023. The investigating officer informed the court that the charge sheet was prepared on the basis of forensic reports from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency and data verification by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). According to the reports, the presence of the nominated suspects at the scene during the May 9 attack on Radio Pakistan was confirmed.
