Kejriwal urges Gen Z to seek accountability over NEET paper leak

Arvind Kejriwal urged India’s Gen Z population to ensure accountability in the alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak case, saying young people have the power to bring major political and systemic change.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, the former Delhi chief minister said repeated examination paper leaks had severely impacted the confidence and future of lakhs of students across the country.
Kejriwal said that if young people in countries like Bangladesh and Nepal could bring political change, Indian students could also ensure that those responsible for paper leaks are held accountable.
He questioned the effectiveness of past investigations conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation and alleged that previous probes into examination leaks had failed to result in strict punishment for the accused.
The Aam Aadmi Party leader also claimed that the ongoing CBI investigation into the NEET UG 2026 paper leak would not produce meaningful results.
Kejriwal referred to multiple paper leak incidents reported since 2014 and alleged that many such cases had occurred in states governed by the BJP.
The controversy surrounding the NEET UG 2026 examination intensified after allegations emerged that question papers had been leaked through messaging platforms before the exam. The Centre later handed over the probe to the CBI following nationwide outrage among students and parents.
