Arvind Kejriwal accuses BJP of attacking CJP volunteers

Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Friday, August 21, took to X and reposted a post by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka, alleging that CJP volunteers were attacked by BJP workers during their visit to a Rajasthan village.
In his post, Kejriwal alleged that the CJP volunteers were beaten, their clothes were torn and the windows of their vehicle were smashed. He also questioned whether the volunteers were being targeted for raising their voices in support of better education for children.
“Is all this just so they can't raise their voices for giving kids a good education? If the kids get educated, what's BJP's problem with that? Why do they want to keep our children illiterate?”
Earlier, Kejriwal had also said that “BJP goons” had attacked CJP volunteers. The allegation came after a scuffle reportedly broke out in a Rajasthan village when villagers, allegedly accompanied by BJP workers, put up barricades and stopped a CJP team from entering the area.
The team had visited the village to inspect a government school as part of its “School Thik Karo” campaign. Videos from the incident showed a large group of people involved in heated exchanges with CJP members, with pushing and shoving reported as the team attempted to enter the village.
Some videos also showed the windows of cars, reportedly belonging to the visiting CJP team, being smashed.
Ranka alleged that the CJP team was attacked on the orders of Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar.
