KCS Foundation honours 27 young achievers at YES Awards 2026 in Dubai

The KCS Foundation, a Bihar-based organization working in education, youth empowerment and social development, celebrated International Literacy Day in Dubai by hosting the YES Awards 2026, honouring 27 outstanding students for their achievements and contributions to their communities.
Held on Sunday, the event reflected UNESCO’s 2026 theme, “Literacy for people, the planet and prosperity,” and highlighted the role of education and literacy in developing responsible leaders and inclusive, knowledge-driven societies.
The 27 awardees, representing different countries and regions, were selected from a large number of international nominations following an evaluation by a distinguished jury. They were recognized for academic excellence, leadership, innovation, extracurricular achievements and sustained community impact. The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Pankaj Jha, Dr. Gautam Kumar, Dr. Menaka Shekhar and Dr. Sanjeet Jha, reaffirming the foundation’s focus on education, literacy, youth empowerment and community service.
Among the distinguished guests were Prabhat Kumar Jha, Executive Director (Central Zone), National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), and Pabitra Kumar Majumder, Consul (Education), Consulate General of India in Dubai. Speakers included Porush Jhunjhunwala of Banke International; Bhupesh Kaura and Anishaa Jaisinghani of Deloitte; Anil Jha of Maanawta Foundation; Siddhant Jhurani of Altrea Global; and motivational speaker Amar Choudhary.
The programme was coordinated and moderated by Tannish Gautam, Riya Sarah Cornel, Sidonie Marie Morin and Kristen Gabriella Valles, helping ensure an engaging and professional event.
The initiative received support from California Residences, Deloitte and SelexIQ Education Support Services Dubai.
Organizers said YES Awards 2026 aims to recognize young people whose achievements demonstrate how education, leadership, innovation and community engagement can create meaningful and lasting social impact.
