Kapil Mishra gives Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia to widow of drowning victim

Minister of Law and Justice and Karawal Nagar MLA Kapil Mishra on Thursday handed over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh as ex-gratia assistance to the wife of a man who died on the banks of the river Yamuna in a tragic incident in the Karawal Nagar Assembly constituency. Kuldeep Nailwal died on 4 October after slipping and falling into the Yamuna River near Sonia Vihar.
While handing over the cheque to his wife Deepa Nailwal, Kapil Mishra expressed deep condolences to the family and stated that the Government stands firmly with them in this difficult time.
He assured that the family would not face any kind of shortage in support. The Government and local administration are in constant touch with the affected family and are providing all necessary assistance.
Along with this, the minister also assured that arrangements would soon be made for Deepa Nailwal’s employment and that he would personally take responsibility for the daughter’s education. He further assured that, if required in the future, additional support and assistance would also be provided to help the family overcome this challenging situation.
Upon receiving the ex-gratia cheque from the Delhi Government, Deepa Nailwal expressed her gratitude to CM Rekha Gupta and Kapil Mishra. She said that this financial assistance would provide crucial economic and emotional support to her family in these difficult times.
