Jaipur Class 4 Student Suicide: Family releases CCTV footage alleging bullying and teacher inaction

Fresh CCTV footage released by the family of a nine-year-old Class 4 student who allegedly died by suicide at a private school in Jaipur has reignited the case, with the parents alleging that the child faced repeated bullying and received no help from teachers despite seeking assistance.
The incident occurred nearly eight months ago. According to the family, the newly surfaced classroom footage shows the girl entering the classroom normally, greeting a classmate and participating in a dance activity before allegedly being subjected to repeated bullying by fellow students. They claim she repeatedly approached her teacher for help, but no effective intervention followed.
Rajasthan Police have recently filed a chargesheet in the case before a court. The release of the CCTV footage has renewed public scrutiny of the school's handling of the incident and the alleged failure to address complaints of bullying.
The family has alleged that the child endured sustained harassment in school and that their concerns were not adequately addressed. They are seeking accountability and stronger measures to prevent bullying in educational institutions.
The school has not publicly responded to the latest allegations surrounding the CCTV footage. The matter remains under investigation and is currently before the court.
