Bharat Gaurav Tourist train to launch 07 Jyotirlinga Yatra

To promote heritage, pilgrimage tourism in India, Bharat Gaurav Tourist train will be operated exclusive circuits “07 Jyotirlinga Yatra” in the month of May. Tours will start from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station.
From heritage, pilgrimage shores, the “07 Jyotirlinga Yatra” tour has it all.
Spanning over a period of 12 days, this tour will cover a host of places like Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga (Ujjain) situated in the ancient city of Ujjain on the side of the Kshipra (Shipra) River. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, where Shiva is revered as Mahakaleshwar (Lord of Time and Death) Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga (Omkareshwar) situated on an island called Mandhata in the Narmada River, which is shaped like the holy symbol “Om” Nageshwar Jyotirlinga temple (Dwarka). Significance: One of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas, known for protecting devotees from poison and negativity.
Beyt Dwarka (Island Temple) Significance: Believed to be the original residence of Lord Krishna. It is an island accessible by boat via Okha peninsula, located about 34 km from Dwarka town.
Dwarkadhish Temple Significance: Considered the kingdom of Lord Krishna, dating back 1500 BC.

Somnath Jyotirlinga (Veraval): It is believed that the shrine was built in four stages: Gold (by Moon God/Soma), Silver (by Ravana), Sandalwood (by Lord Krishna), and Stone (by Bhimdeva).
Triyambakeshwar Jyotirlinga (Nashik) Shri Trimbakeshwar is a religious center having one of the twelve Jyotirlinga. The extraordinary feature of the Jyotirlinga located here is its three faces embodying Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Due to the excessive use of water, the linga has started to erode.
Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga (Pune) Lord Shiva manifesting in the Sahyadri hills to destroy the demon Bhima, son of Kumbhakarna.
Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga (Chhatrapati Sambhaji nagar): It features red stone construction, intricate carvings, and a pyramidal shikara in the South Indian style.
07 Jyotirlinga Yatra has been launched at a special price of `48500 per person for II AC and ` 36560 for III AC and `23505 for Sleeper class. Package price is inclusive of train journey in respective AC II, AC III & Sleeper class, accommodation in AC Budget Hotels and Non AC Budget hotels, all meals (veg only), all transfer and sight-seeing in AC and Non AC vehicles, accidental travel insurance and services of IRCTC Tour Manager etc.
