IG, Palamu inaugurates Composite Control Room in Daltonganj

IG of police Palamu zone Shailendra Kumar Sinha on Monday inaugurated the Composite Control Room in the presence of DC Sameera S, SP Reeshma Ramesan, additional collector Kundan Kumar and a host of police officers.

The Composite Control Room has a fleet of 113 cameras which include vari focal cameras, automatic number plate recognition cameras and pan tilt zoom cameras.

The Composite Control Room can watch you easily like spitting on the road or littering it with dirt or even flirting with a girl or woman.

Sinha on the other hand reaffirmed that the variety of cameras is no invasion of privacy as it is solely meant to track and tab doubtful, suspicious and dubious persons or situations.

With the national highway getting into 4 lanes the pressure of traffic and subsequent congestion are just an imminent thing here and, in that context, the 24x7 monitoring of the Composite Control Room will be quite a helpful thing.

There was one thing common in the speeches of the VIPs. IG Sinha had a profusion of appreciation for the SP Reeshma Ramesan whom he called madam Rishma.

DC Sameera S too was thankful to SP while in a very rare gesture DC praised her predecessor for paving way to have a state of art Composite Control Room.

The local MLA Alok Kumar Chaurasiya was equally no short of appreciating the SP for such a high-tech work.

The district administration provided the fund for this digital window Composite Control Room.

The Composite Control Room has come at such a time when there is a season of festivities and processions are inevitable.
