From Loyola School to Washington DC: Abhijoy Gandhi pens a new corporate mantra

From the green campus of Loyola School to the power corridors of Washington DC, the journey of Jamshedpur-born Abhijoy Gandhi is a saga of grit, vision, and achievement. The corporate leader-turned-author is back in the spotlight with his new book “A New Corporate Mantra: The Playbook for Organizational Success.”
Back in his hometown to celebrate the book’s success, Gandhi described the visit as a deeply personal homecoming. “I love to be back to my birthplace. Jamshedpur is a place I always look forward to returning to. My book is getting rave reviews, and I wanted to share this success with my parents,” he told The Pioneer.
Son of Dr. K M Gandhi, former head of surgery at Tata Main Hospital, and OBGYN Dr Sunetra Gandhi, Abhijoy credits his value-based education at Loyola School, where he rose to be School President, as a foundation for his life’s journey.
Today, Gandhi is the CEO of Glue Inc, a Greylock Partners-funded Seattle-based startup building the world’s largest AI-wellness platform. The company’s mission: to deliver wellness and happiness to 165 million corporate employees across the globe, was recognized by Forbes as one of India’s 200 hottest startups given its Pune and Bangalore engineering hubs. His illustrious career includes stints as a McKinsey strategy consultant and leadership roles at Lehman Brothers, Wells Fargo, and SunTrust Banks. A Wharton MBA and Joseph Wharton Scholar, Gandhi’s entrepreneurial ventures have even featured in the Inc. list of America’s fastest-growing companies.
“Though based in the USA, I make sure to balance Janmabhoomi with Karmabhoomi and that both nations continue to develop this partnership, pool resources and work for the common good of the free world. As a member of FMC, I am playing my part. It is the premier non-profit focused on Congress, involving both Former and Current Members of Congress in our work that informs and grows the partnership – all on a bipartisan basis. Our work strengthens the Congress by creating across-the-aisle opportunities for Current Members to work together on issues including energy, global trade, international security, transportation policy and very importantly - critical minerals to continue to develop compute capabilities for AI. Equally important is our work educating the public about U.S. representative democracy, public service, and Congress as an institution,” he noted.
When not shuttling between Seattle and DC, he finds his bliss in Atlanta with his wife, Ms. Universe Mpule, their three children—SJ, Aeon, and Aina—and Orion, the family’s furry member.
But it is his new book that has captured the imagination of readers worldwide. Described as a no-nonsense guide for millennials and Gen Z professionals, A New Corporate Mantra blends wisdom from 50 corporate leaders with relatable, witty, and razor-sharp insights. From tackling office politics to making bold career moves, the book promises to be a roadmap for anyone navigating the corporate maze.
Packed with anecdotes, sharp advice, and straight talk, Gandhi’s playbook doesn’t just teach survival—it empowers readers to thrive, dominate, and redefine success in today’s fast-paced corporate jungle.
