Govt appoints Lavanya Mundayur as CMD of New India Assurance

The Government on Wednesday approved the appointment of Lavanya R Mundayur as the Chairman and Managing Director of New India Assurance Company Ltd till May 31, 2029.

The Finance Ministry's Department of Financial Services issued an order stating that Mundayur, who is currently the CMD of Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd (AICIL), will have a pay scale of Rs 2,05,400-Rs 2,24,400.
