Gangster linked to Tillu Tajpuria group held

A criminal linked to the Tillu Tajpuria gang was arrested after a gunfight in Rohini, officials said.

He was a life convict in two murder cases and a proclaimed offender. The Delhi Police Special Cell made the arrest after a brief exchange of fire.

The accused, identified as Robin alias Babloo, was apprehended near Barwala Chowk in Sector 36 on April 21. He had jumped parole and was allegedly planning further crimes under instructions from gang handlers operating from abroad.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Narra Chaitanya said the accused was a key member of an organised gang.
