Fire breaks out at Delhi's Parikrama restaurant, 7 tenders rushed

A fire broke out at the Parikrama – The Revolving Restaurant on KG Marg in central Delhi this afternoon, prompting a swift response from the Delhi Fire Service. The blaze was contained quickly, and no injuries or casualties were reported.
According to fire officials, the control room received a call about the incident at around 3:40 pm. 7 fire tenders, along with specialised rescue equipment, were rushed to the restaurant located in the Antriksh Bhawan building near Barakhamba Road.
Officials said the fire was confined to the kitchen exhaust chimney, where accumulated oil residue had caught fire. Firefighters brought the blaze under control within about 20 minutes, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the restaurant or the building.
As a precautionary measure, the restaurant and parts of the building were evacuated while emergency personnel carried out firefighting operations. Authorities said the premises would be reopened after the smoke was completely cleared and safety checks were completed.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Delhi Fire Service officials said an investigation is underway, while confirming that there was no loss of life or injuries in the incident.
