Finish projects on time: CM Rekha

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday directed officials to ensure that all projects are completed within the stipulated timelines and meet quality standards so that residents can benefit at the earliest.

Making this assertion after visiting her constituency, Shalimar Bagh, she also said the government is placing special emphasis on the integrated development of sewer systems, roads, drainage, and other urban infrastructure to promote cleanliness, accessibility, and a better quality of life across Delhi.

The chief minister inspected and inaugurated several development projects in Shalimar Bagh aimed at improving basic civic infrastructure. She reiterated that the Delhi Government remains committed to strengthening essential services across every part of the capital and ensuring that projects are completed on time and to high standards.

During her visit, Rekha Gupta inaugurated the laying of a new sewer line in the PU Block of Pitampura. Once completed, the project is expected to resolve long-standing sewer-related issues in the area and provide residents with a cleaner and more efficient drainage system.
